1. Scheduling Policy: Requests will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis! Consideration may be made for experience, availability, and specialized functions. Assignment schedules will be emailed via the Volunteer Portal, unless otherwise requested by the volunteer.
2. Please Use One Form per Each Volunteer. Forms are available at the Banana Factory, ArtsQuest Center and Visitor Center, online at www.musikfest.org/volunteer or by calling a member of the volunteer department.
3. Volunteering Together: To be assigned with another volunteer, volunteers should specify the person they wish to be paired with on their Registration Forms. All efforts will be made to honor requests, but placement cannot be guaranteed.
4. Minimum Hour Requirements: Volunteers are required to serve at least 3 shifts. To help with coverage at our busiest times, two weekend shifts will be counted as 3 shifts. Every volunteer who meets the minimum requirement will be given one volunteer t-shirt, one pin, and one name badge. Each volunteer must pick up their own package at the Banana Factory, located at 25 W Third Street, Bethlehem, PA 18015.
6. Any volunteer hoping to complete court-ordered community service must speak with the Volunteer Manager before scheduling.
7. Set-up (July 25 – Aug 5) and Takedown (Aug. 15 - 18): Sandwiches and cold drinks will be provided for volunteers during setup and takedown.
8. Additional Items: Those volunteering 4-6 shifts will receive a second volunteer shirt. A third shirt is given to those who volunteer 6 or more shifts. Last Night Pin: Volunteers who help in any function on the last night (Sunday, Aug. 14, 5-11 PM) will receive a specially designed pin.
To qualify for these incentives, shifts must be scheduled through the ArtsQuest Volunteer office.
